The Nikon 500mm f/4 P IF-ED is a pro level telephoto lens which has been especially popular with wildlife and nature photographers. High level optical components including three ED (Extra Low Dispersion) glass are mated with top level mechanical construction featuring an Internal Focus mechanism purpose built for manual focus. Unlike most manual focus only Nikon lenses, the 500mm P ED IF has a CPU (sometimes referred to as an Ai-P chip) and electronic data contacts to couple with Nikon autofocus cameras metering & exposure systems. This lens is in excellent condition with only the lightest signs of use. The optics are clean and clear with no marks or scratches. There is an extremely minor amount of dust within the lens. The lens barrel shows only the lightest cosmetic marks. The focus ring is smooth and in great condition. The lens mount is in good condition. The tripod collar is in excellent condition with only the lightest signs of use. The lens hood is in excellent condition with only the lightest signs of use. The flight case is in excellent condition with only the lightest signs of use.Please note: This lens is provided with a clip-on drop-in filter, without its filter.
