The optical design incorporates three aspherical elements, one of which is glass-moulded and the other two are precision moulded, in order to control chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range. The lens placement has also been optimised, and coatings have been applied, to reduce flare and ghosting for increased contrast and clarity when photographing in difficult lighting conditions. This lens looks to be in near mint condition with almost no signs of use. The optics are clean and clear with no marks or scratches. The lens barrel shows almost no cosmetic marks. The focus ring is smooth and in great condition. The lens mount is in great condition showing almost no signs of use.
